I belonged to a lower-middle-class joint family. Most of the time I had nothing to eat in the school during recess time. However, my family ensured that school fees were paid on time, but all my school friends were not so lucky. There were students who had financial problems. These students were very bright in studies but had to face very embarrassing situations when fees were demanded in school. During such times I use to think that whenever I would grow I would definitely do something for kids who want to study but are not able to.
I got married and had to drop my education, of course for some time, I completed my Bachelors in commerce and then Atharva (my son) entered my life. Everything was passing well, until one day our domestic help shared with me that she wants her girl to study but cannot continue due to financial problems.
I found an opportunity and I helped her. But this was the eye-opener for me. My goal from childhood was alive in front of me and compelling me to run towards achieving my dream.
The best way to achieve your goal or dream is to work on it, and yes I started working on it.
I thought I should again polish myself a bit before I could start pursuing my dream and hence I completed my Masters in HR and then decided to start a circle that would help children, who are financially challenged.
This was the birth of “Saraswati Education Circle”, wherein I, with help of my friends collected funds and helped children who were in need.
So far we have provided Books, Pens and Pencils to about 140 students. We have also provided a Microscope to school to conduct proper practicals for students.
We wish to extend our help as much as we can and reach the students who really want to study and change their life.
We request you to support us in this initiative.
Come forward and donate some amount which could be a life-changer for the student who needs it.
